A world of inanimate objects populates the creativity of Patricia M. a sensible and talented artist who loves to convey the poetics to the guest through the recondestation of materials recovered from rubbish, abandoned markets …
The installations enjoy a new life but they can tell us their past, the flow of time, their lives and those who used them, and they are trying to capture our attention so much that we can take part in their lives “Other” and current.
An old typewriter (“Cut words”), covered with a red access to the thought, blood – the blood of life but also the blood of violent death – is in the room and seems to be watching. A couple of scissors are stuck inside and the lacerti of words you see. Those words that can be sharp, violent, and often manipulated by a society where communicated communication is often embedded in falsehood, hypocrisy. The red wax can seal, embellish those uncomfortable acts and uncomfortable realities that are deliberately concealed to avoid encounter / confrontation with a disagreeable reality that is best to abate.
A stroller inhabited by dolls and dolls, adorned with leaves and plants that can be watered in an interactive way (“Nobody” is the title of this work), underline the crude reality of those uninvented infants; Violated, abused, sick … killed in the spirit and on the birth, but also the ability to nourish life; Thus choosing a path that hopes to a constructive end. And then, along with other installations and works – dealing with issues of illness, incompatibility and more, ndr.-, here is on the wall “Agua”.
These are speculative shots of children that through an interracial playful phase express themselves with that candor that is typical of the very young age, as such is still pure, untouched and true where the intent is to remind the goodwill of that wonderful phase of life Which should be free from deception and disturbances.
A reflective exhibition full of cues and very present contents – for example, the theme of “diversity” – which, given their intensity, is often reflected in the reverberation of thought or traumatic in our contemporaries more than ever. An exhibition that thanks to the creativity of visual arts can awaken collective consciousness, starting from that of the individual.
